About EMVAfrica
Energy Metals (now EMVAfrica) traces its origins back to 1992, when our chairman, Hugh Whitty, established the company as a trusted supplier of industrial stainless steels. Building on this foundation of excellence, in 1997, Hugh co-founded MULTIAlloys, specializing in high-performance stainless-steel alloys. This expansion continued with the opening of E-Metals Cape in 2002, our branch serving the Western Cape region. As our portfolio diversified, so did our vision. In 2016, Energy Valves was established, providing valves, actuators, and complementary accessories. This evolution led to a strategic restructuring of the combined strengths and industry know-how of three great companies that have three decades of experience into Energy Engineered Products, with Energy Metals and Energy Valves as its two core business units. This restructuring was driven by our commitment to meeting the growing demands of our customers through an expanded product offering. In 2018, under the leadership of Graham Whitty (our current CEO), a decisive step was taken to elevate our collective expertise and capabilities. Energy Engineered Products, MULTIAlloys, and E-Metals Cape were consolidated under a unified identity: EMVAfrica. This consolidation formed two additional divisions, ENERGYValves and MULTIAlloys, dedicated to delivering tailored solutions with precision and expertise. This strategic realignment not only streamlined our operations but also enhanced our industry presence, offering broader benefits and a wider reach. At EMVAfrica, we remain committed in our commitment to delivering top-quality products and unparalleled service, ensuring that our customers receive the excellence they expect from a leading industry player.
