Hospitalization can significantly disrupt a child's normal development, introducing stress, anxiety, and a loss of routine factors that can negatively impact emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Family Focus Program Caring for a seriously ill child brings tremendous challenges for the entire family. During these difficult times, even a brief moment of relief can make a world of difference. Guided by referrals from the medical community, our Family Focus Program provides families with much-needed breaks and joyful experiences designed to uplift and restore. We offer day-long outings to beloved destinations such as Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Sloomoo Institute, LEGOLAND, local sporting events, and more. These special adventures are carefully timed to align with moments of treatment or recovery, ensuring they are safe and restorative. We believe in the power of storytelling to provide understanding, ease anxiety, and foster connection during difficult times.
