Encore believe in a sustainable future why is why we introduced ProjectDIVERT- a new initiative provided by Encore Environment that challenges the traditional routes of disposal through academic collaboration. The tool enables easy analysis of potential waste routes which allows its users to make an informed decision and create holistic reporting based on each aspect assessed. By diverting waste away from Material Recovery Facilities (MRF's), which is the traditional route for waste disposal, Encore is able to have full control over the way waste is disposed of and end destination. Consequently, unnecessary cost, production of CO2 and negative CSR can be eliminated and the risk of contamination to the material is reduced. This approach supports the Waste Hierarchy Methodology.
