End of Life Doula UK is the membership body for end of life doulas and doulas in training in the UK. We support our members to open up conversations about death and dying in their communities, and to provide support to people with a terminal diagnosis and those important to them. Our members help people think about death and dying, talk about it and plan for it, in a safe and supportive way. We share information and stories about 'ordinary' death and dying to increase death literacy and death competency, and ensure that people, their families and friends, and communities can approach death with reduced fear and increased confidence. We collaborate with NHS services, hospices, care and nursing homes and other organisations to ensure that our support can be offered to anyone who needs it.
