Michigan Advocates to End Seclusion and Restraint (EndSaR) is a group of parents and self-advocates who are working to end seclusion and restraint because we've seen first hand how damaging the practices can be and because we know there are better ways to help our most vulnerable children. Our focus is on Michigan, but we advocate at the local, state, and federal level. Our objective is to end the practices of seclusion and restraint in Michigan through student advocacy, educator support, parent education, quality control, and legislative change.
