About Enduring Empathy

For 6 years we have been working as independent humanitarian volunteers. We meet people in their homes and communities and learn about how they live. This in person and intimate approach to community and global health allows us to give the most precise and tailored assistance we can to those in need. The main services we provide are local remedies for common ailments, education on self-care and other projects, diabetes management, at home pain and injury support. We are starting Enduring Empathy to expand our reach and help more people. Enduring Empathy is an unregistered charitable organization committed to providing wellness support in remote and underserved regions. We are fundraising to buy and outfit a bus that will allow us to help a broader section of the global community. Once we have a bus with our gear ready to go we will head south to the Central American country of Belize. We will be going on a 95 mile Wellness Adventure across Belize from west to east, stopping in villages along the way helping villages with acute or chronic illness, pain, and injuries. Kevin Proffitt, one of our founders, will be running the length of the country to raise awareness for the health experiences of Belizeans. We aim not only to provide assistance but to educate and empower local communities to learn new and old ways of taking care of their communities and finding creative solutions to problems that come up.
