ENER-G Natural Power has rebranded as YLEM ENERGY LIMITED. This follows the sale of the cogeneration business of ENER.G, which included the ENER.G brand. Our landfill biogas business continues with the same management and operations team from our existing UK HQ. Ylem Energy is one of the world's leading independent power generation experts, with a proven record of delivering gas-to-energy generation projects from landfill gas, or any methane rich gas source. We have developed over 150 MW of landfill gas-to-energy projects over the past 25 years in the UK, Poland, Mexico and South Africa. Ylem Energy's advanced technologies also help manage associated gases efficiently to generate energy, reduce CO2 emissions and meet environmental requirements. The company is currently developing South Africa's largest ever landfill gas-to-power initiative, with an £11 million investment in five sites in Johannesburg. Further projects are in the pipeline across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. Ylem Energy's multi-million-pound portfolio of landfill gas generation projects in Mexico includes projects in Aguascalientes and Durango, which are supplying 2.5MW and 1MW of clean energy. Nissan Motorcars, located in Aguascalientes, continues to benefit from the green power which is produced by Ylem Energy locally to the Nissan plant. In the more mature landfill gas markets of the UK and Poland, Ylem continues to operate and maintain a large portfolio of operating power generation sites and is seeking future growth opportunities.
