is a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative, providing deep discounts to commercial and residential customers. Thanks to deregulation of the energy market, you now have a choice of suppliers which will offer the best rate for your natural gas and electric energy needs. We buy energy direct at wholesale and pass along ALL discounts to our members. The result: possibly the lowest possible utility costs you can find in the state. Since its inception in 1997, the Energy Cooperative has grown to encompass all regions of New York State and parts of Pennsylvania – providing its members with electricity and natural gas at the lowest possible costs. This has benefited countless businesses, industries, colleges and universities, civic groups, school districts, hospitals, Office buildings, retail, churches and residences. It has also contributed to a strong commitment to the communities and regions of its members that leads to more economic and financial stability for New York State and Pennsylvania. Currently, the Cooperative has over 7,500 members including over 11,000 service accounts around the state. We serve the following utility areas and look to expand this to all public utility territories in the near future: National Fuel Gas, National Grid, New York State Electric & Gas, Rochester Gas & Electric, Con-Edison, Met-Edison, PECO, Penelec, West Penn Power and PPL.
