About Energy Evaluation Services
Energy Evaluation Services Ltd (EES) was founded in 2011 to meet the growing need for sustainable residential & commercial property developments. Previously known as Lumenco, EES has rapidly grown into a national energy efficient and low carbon provider. Reaching audiences across the UK, EES offers sustainable solutions to deliver energy efficient properties; securing consents and enhancing the well-being of the occupants. Our expertise ranges from initial concept design (for planning purposes) to fully detailed assessments suitable for building service installations and formal accreditations for new and existing buildings. We offer a full range of 3D thermal modelling, Dynamic Simulation (DSM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to predict energy usage, temperature distributions, daylighting, solar gain and shading assessments. These models enable us to advise clients, the specification of building fabric, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC) and low or zero carbon technology solutions. It also guarantees that we continuously meet or exceed Building Regulations and/or established criteria including BREEAM and HQM and satisfying local planning guidance. In addition to low carbon feasibility studies, EES is accredited to provide Part L calculations and EPC statements for both commercial (up to Level 5) and residential properties, advising architects and designers on fabric requirements together with heating and hot water systems. Including (but not limited to) traditional central heating systems through to the full range of Low or Zero carbon technologies such as solar or photovoltaics, combine heat and power (CHP) and air or ground source heat pump systems.
