About Engineering and Manufacturing Alliance (EMA)

Engineering and Manufacturing Alliance (EMA) is a 501-4C membership not-for-profit corporation that promotes, facilitates, and enables research and education of dispensing systems engineering. EMA is accomplishing this mission through two initiatives. The first being an incredible joint-venture of it’s members and Eastern Michigan University’s GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology. We have created a fully functioning industrial precision dispense cell onsite, students utilize this cell to complete their senior capstone projects and graduate as dispensing systems engineers. EMA members have direct access to these students for summer internships and full-time employment following graduation, supplying a much-needed skilled workforce. The second initiative is the sponsorship of industry TDSE (Total Dispensing Systems Engineering) Workshops. These workshops are held at the Coherix Innovation Center and led by Terry Taylor, a TDSE expert with over 25 years of experience. Systems integrators, robot companies, dispenser companies and end users attend the Workshops, all coming together to share experiences, knowledge, and insights.
