About Engineers for the Future
Engineers for the future was inspired by the need for change within Africa. We believe that in order to bring about this change we, as engineers, need to create our own entrepreneurial spaces with a particular focus on innovation to spearhead the 4IR within Africa. Engineers have the capabilities to shape the world and we hope we can be a part of getting them there. Mission: - To inspire and encourage engineering students to take up social innovation and entrepreneurship to empower themselves and their communities. - To start conversations about restructuring the engineering curriculum that will prepare students to take on promote positive change. - To work towards solutionist thinking to transition Africa into a green continent.
