About Engineers Without Borders - Detroit Professional Chapter

The Detroit Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to build a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. We currently have four international engineering projects - two in El Balsamar, El Salvador and two in Laguna de Apoyo, Nicaragua. EWB is not just for engineers! We need many skills to round out our chapter. Our chapter provides an outlet to people who want to make a difference in this world. Whatever your skills are we would like to talk with you about how you can get engaged with our chapter and help make a difference.
