Founded in 1961 with humble beginnings, our first office was in a basement where our founder, FW Englefield III and his wife managed the original three service stations. Englefield Oil Company quickly gained a reputation for treating both customers and employees with respect while providing quality products at a fair price. In 1975 the company started to build momentum and FW Englefield III opened the first three Duchess convenience stores. Today, Englefield Oil Company and our Duchess convenience stores are Greater Ohio’s provider premier of automotive, commercial and industrial fuel and lubricant products. With a statewide network of Duchess convenience stores, a fleet of dedicated service vehicles, four warehouse locations and over 1,500 employees, we invest in the people and equipment to exceed your expectations.
