About English Explorers

I provide private English literacy lessons, reading intervention and Dyslexia therapy to students in Basel, Switzerland and worldwide on Zoom. I have 20 years of experience as a teacher. I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am also trained in Orton-Gillingham teaching methods. The Orton-Gillingham method involves teaching children how to read using all modalities of learning including visual, tactile, and kinesthetic movement. I provide Dyslexia therapy using a comprehensive, research based curriculum called Take Flight developed at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children's Dyslexia Center. The curriculum can only be taught by a trained therapist.
