Enlight is an Edtech start-up aiming to solve the profound educational inequalities entrenched in impoverished areas without internet access by revolutionizing education by providing offline access to high-quality, interactive, and up-to-date educational resources. Enlight Africa is building a device that tackles the problems of outdated study materials, monotonous content, and lack of access in remote areas. At Enlight, we understand that over 300 million students in Africa are denied quality education due to the digital divide. This problem is particularly pronounced in West and Central Africa ( 194 million students affected ) and East and Southern Africa ( 191 million affected ). This gap perpetuates cycles of unequal opportunities, limiting individuals' potential and stifling community development. Therefore, we will offer a unique learning experience that incorporates interactive simulations, gamified lessons, engaging practice quizzes, and concise notes/videos, fostering a practical and immersive approach to learning. Our device, 'The Book of Everything,' is a game-changer. It can broadcast these quality materials within a 60-meter radius and allow about 25 students(per device) within range to simultaneously connect and access the content broadcasted by the device without the need for an internet connection.
