About Enlightco

In 1997 the inventors of the Enlightco technology discovered the potential of illuminated foils. Several R&D initiatives swiftly followed with hundreds of tests and prototypes being experimented with and made. After several years of experimentation an illuminated "paste" polymer was then refined, with multiple applications and uses. The then small and dedicated Enlightco team realised that they stumbled on something revolutionary, something that could redefine the way we use light - a new form of lighting. Further R&D was done on the use of Enlightco’s paste on of steel plates. This opened the door to the first cross industry lighting solution for Enlightco. The first patent "illuminated road markings" was tried in the year of 2012. Soon after Enlightco's technology was also evaluated for the use in the aviation industry, which has one of the highest quality and safety standard requirements in the world. Enlightco's technology met and surpassed Fire, Smoke and Toxicity (FST) aviation tests. Today Enlightco cooperates with internationally recognized partners and prosperous market leaders in their respective industries to bring them light and design solutions not possible before.
