My names is Brenda Dwyer, proprietor of EntIcing Cakes based at 128, Victoria Road West, Cleveleys FY5 3LG near Blackpool in Lancashire. I successfully passed my City and Guilds in Cake Decoration in 1995, and once qualified, I started off just making cakes for friends, family and work colleagues. Eventually, as my reputation grew I decided to finally set-up as a business and EntIcing Cakes was born ! In order too keep up with new products and methods I am continually furthering my skills, and have completed courses on and am experienced in choclatiering and figure modelling work.I am a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild and regularly do demonstrations at meetings. I am also a member of Made in Lancashire and fully support all their events that take place. I have been awarded a Food Hygiene Certificate having successfully completed the course and passed regular re-assessments. My business is fully registered with the local food environment and hygiene agencies. I also have full Public Liability Insurance for your piece of mind. At EntIcing Cakes, we pride ourselves in providing a personal, professional and friendly service. We only use the best quality ingredients in my cakes, and food in our catering. We make all the fruit cake bases using a recipe passed down to me through generations of my family (including a well kept secret ingredient !) We have added cup cakes in plain and yummy chocolate which are baked in our shop premises.
