About Entrepreneurship Development Association (EDA)
The Entrepreneurship Development Association (EDA) is a professional student-run, non-profit organization that comprises a diverse team of executives and student members from various departments within York University. Our mission is to motivate, assist, and develop the skills of students who have a desire to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and improve organizations that they are affiliated with. EDA's ultimate goal is to connect students with industry professionals and resources needed to strengthen their ventures and explore entrepreneurship. The association currently offers hands-on workshops, a TechStars Weekend and an annual speaker series and workshop such as Marketing & Sales Strategies, Legal considerations and Financial Blueprints, where students get the opportunity to engage in discussions, network, and learn from successful entrepreneurs.
