Environmental Cistern Cleaning Inc. was created to take advantage of the need to have water cisterns and tanks cleaned with an environmentally safe and chemical free cleaning process, and without causing liability issues for our clients. Our service area currently covers Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. We have also serviced clients in the lower mainland. As our equipment is designed to be light-weight & portable, we also offer a fly-in/fly-out service to very remote areas. With our exclusive AquaSave plus technology we can clean cisterns without removing the water. Most noteworthy, we don’t use any chemicals or cleaning agents. Depending on the application, we utilize different technologies and methodologies. Our method not only saves several hundred dollars over traditional cistern cleaning methods which require water replacement, but more importantly: Is safe for the Environment Uses No Chemicals or Cleaning Agents No need to empty the cistern before cleaning Environmental Cistern Cleaning Inc. carries full liability insurance. However, because of the cleaning methodologies we incorporate, we do not require the entry of our personnel into the water cistern. This eliminates the burden of insurance and liability consequences for the homeowner, and therefore we do not contravene WorkSafeBC rules and regulations (and incur possible fines), for unauthorized confined space entry on the property. Since April 17, 2013, when Environmental Cistern Cleaning Inc. (then operating as CleanCistern.Com) started operations, until May 3, 2018 – just over 5 years later – we are happy to announce, that our total water savings (water not dumped + water not having to be replaced from the aquifer) to date is 4,242,945 gallons (more than 19 million litres) of precious water – the equivalent of more than 38.6 million half liter bottles of water. If one laid those water bottles end to end, they would stretch right across Canada!
