Environmental Coatings Inc. was founded by the late Jim McAllister back in 1968, specializing in material for the furniture industry and has grown to become the leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial coatings in the Michigan area. Today the company still has its roots, now firmly established, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Many of the original staff still work here and bring with them the wealth of experience and knowledge gained over the preceding years. That's where the story starts, but doesn't end. Our sales team is trained to give a consultancy sale. It's not about getting the order, but more about ensuring the customer has a better, higher-quality, more cost-effective product than they would initially have looked for. Whether it's reducing emissions or solvent content, improving speed and throughput, appearance, or just old-fashioned pricing issues, we are here to help.
