EC&CS has the capability to provide: Phase I & II Environmental Assessments (ESAs); site characterizations; asbestos inspections; collection and testing of air, bulk, soil and groundwater samples; assessment of site risk(s); remediating both non-hazardous and hazardous materials; designing, installing and operating and maintaining remediation systems to include pump and treat, air sparging and soil vapor extraction systems; supervising removal and proper closure of Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) systems; conducting site history research; preparing Site Specific Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), Site Specific Sampling and Analytical Plans (SSSAPs), Spill Prevention Containment and Contingency (SPCC) Plans; obtaining environmental permits; enrolling sites into the North Carolina Brownfields Program or Virginia Petroleum State Tank Fund (VPSTF); and generating a wide array of environmental state and/or federal reports.
