To achieve this, we have developed the Vascoscope supported by the Dutch Kidney Foundation, University Medical Center Utrecht and in close cooperation with the users. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 Ultrasound guidance is the golden standard for more complex cannulation procedures, but is used sparsely because ultrasound devices are not fit-for-use. Vascoscope is a unique ultrasound (US) system that is specifically designed for supporting vascular cannulation. It’s unique features include probe stabilization with easy “drag and drop” fixation and simultaneous viewing of ultrasound image and cannulation location.
