About Epsilon Eta Environmental Honors Society - Alpha Chapter
Epsilon Eta was founded by students and faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the intent of providing members with a thriving social and professional community of active students and alumni looking to incorporate Environmental Science as a major portion of their career. Since 2006, the society has spread nationwide, including: the University of Michigan, UC Berkeley, Boston College, Cornell University, NC State University, and more. The mission of Epsilon Eta is to foster awareness of the intrinsic relationship between people and their environment through academics, the community, and service. Epsilon Eta seeks to create a networking environment that enables members to utilize the society as a means to enhance their actions as stewards of the environment. The Organization seeks to further stimulate the growth of resources for students pursuing environmental careers in the greater community at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
