Let's Start with a Story Long, long ago in the mythical land of Silicon Valley all the scions of industry had declared victory through function. Their number one mantra in all the land was – “If we build it, they will come!” So, they toiled away at building using 1’s and 0’s paving roads and building magnificent infrastructure. They even proudly declared that software would “eat the world!” Then one day when all the roads, bridges, houses and apartments had been built and software had in fact eaten the world a new tool emerged that they had created themselves, AI. AI then started building its own structures at a speed unimaginable only a few years prior. In a land where building for function used to be good enough overnight there was an over overabundance of creation. Pretty soon all the houses started to look and feel the same. The houses worked perfectly but no one knew how to tell them apart. The big VC’s and CEOs all started scratching their heads. If creating the roads and bridges isn’t the hard part anymore, how are we ever going to build new companies that people care about? Ah-hah said their creative friends in the land of Hollywood, you must elevate your minds from that of only utility to telling stories to inspire your customers to want to use the utilities you have created. Thus began a new era where the left brained hemisphere of engineers, scientists, and MBA’s merged with the right brained hemisphere of creatives, artists, and story tellers.
