About Equal Education

Equal Education is an award-winning social enterprise dedicated to connecting qualified teachers with under-resourced students. Recognised as Tuition Business of the Year 2025 by The Tutors' Association, we partner with schools and local authorities to support learners navigating complex needs including Children Looked After (CLA), those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC). We work exclusively with qualified teachers who are passionate about breaking down learning barriers, increasing engagement, and raising aspirations. Our mission is to tackle educational inequality by providing tailored 1:1 tuition programmes, as well as digital technology support, to help vulnerable young people succeed.
