At Equedi, we're building a social network that will be with students throughout their entire academic journey and where their data is owned by them. Equedi is a privacy-centric academic social network where students have equitable access to a professional network of peers, colleges, programs, and careers in order to achieve personal success. Equedi will not only teach students the benefits of networking and building a resume earlier, but will also enable student communities, even global ones, to thrive and stay connected. Through our partners, students will also be able to discover relevant opportunities, such as summer programs & scholarships, so they can pursue their dreams. Equedi is a safe digital space for students to connect. The Equedi platform is protected by the leading content moderation API, has safeguards in place to prevent bullying and harassment, and uses best-in-practice data security, such as encryption in transit and at rest, to ensure students have a safe place to professionally network & put their best foot forward. Finally, Equedi doesn’t use K-12 student data for targeted advertising and never sells identifiable data. We don’t want to skirt around data privacy laws, we want to champion them.
