We are a private psychiatry and therapy center located in Istanbul. Founded by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu who has 30 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, our goal is to provide progressive, credible, individualized, and confidential mental health care services. We like to think of ourselves as “people who care for people.” Equinox is defined as the time or date at which the sun crosses the celestial equator, when day and night are of equal length. EquinoxPT center was founded with the ideal of bringing balance, harmony, and equilibrium to the mind and body. With this goal in mind, our center places the outmost importance on respect for the individual and confidentiality regarding every aspect of their treatment process. We hope to restore a healthy equilibrium to your life. We value health above all, and work hard to set the gold standard in clinically sophisticated and individualized treatment in a comfortable setting. A preferred destination for over 30 years, we’re known for providing the latest, research-based therapies and teaching clients critical skills to support long-term recovery and satisfaction. Our highly qualified staff of board certified psychologists work in collaboration with psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu who has years of extraordinary clinical experience. All of our providers have different areas of sub specialization which allows them to provide each patient with the best possible treatment for his or her condition. We work with psychologists that are experts in addiction, mood disorders, PTSD, women’s issues, LGBTQ confirmation therapy, expat therapy, eating disorders. Our treatment options include but are not limited to psychiatric evaluation, medication management, consultation/ liaison, psychological testing, and different forms of individual and marital therapy. If needed, we are also able to offer the option of hospitalization under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu.
