About Eritage Art Projects

ERITAGE rises naturally after a 4-year creative process lived through the eyes of Wozen, between 2016 - 2019. Our aim is to explore art as a tool to support human evolution from a Social, Cultural and Spiritual perspectives. The truth is, this has always been its function throughout time, helping humans to be more humans. The name ERITAGE has its origin in the old French language back in the 13th century and it means transmission, taking us to the source, to the origin of the human species on Planet Earth. We want to revisit the past and learn from the roots, moving towards a more balanced and sustainable future. ERITAGE is located in the Portuguese capital, right in front of MNAA (National Museum of Ancient Art), challenging us to create a space open to intercultural dialogue, valuing a diversity of styles, ideas and origins. We believe that art galleries have the ethical and social responsibilities of promoting diversity of expressions in an inclusive environment, where gender, colour, and beliefs can co-exist smoothly. This way, it can support both the individual and the collective.
