About Erotic Review Publishing

The Erotic Review relaunched in print in March 2024 as a biannual art and literary journal that explores desire. Edited by Lucy Roeber and Saskia Vogel, art directed and designed by Studio Frith, the Erotic Review publishes stories, reviews, poetry and essays by award-winning writers and each limited edition magazine is curated by a different art editor. We believe in our common humanity rather than catering to a particular gender, sexuality or practise. The magazine is a biannual collectible object of desire (RRP £22) and it was nominated as a design highlight of 2024 in the Guardian. The first issue sold out in five weeks and is now stocked in nearly 60 curated shops and galleries in 15 countries. (Distribution - Public Knowledge Books). It publishes a free monthly newsletter with exclusive conversations with contributors, it has a vibrant social community @eroticreview with 5.25K organic followers and 120K views in April 2025. It's been on the front of the Telegraph books section, the Bookseller, the Guardian, Itsnicethat.com, the Berliner and the Creative Review amongst others. The editor, Lucy Roeber, has talked with Mariella Frostrup, Monocle and Times radio live about the magazine. The launch of issue 2 sold out in both Berlin and London. And issue 3 was also launched in Brussels at Celador. In 2025, Erotic Review is looking to grow annual subscriptions with collaborations, discounts and a subscriber community newsletter. It is launching a spring/summer literary salon series around the theme of 'decolonising desire' with Reference Point, WC2 - 8th May, 5th June and 3rd July. And has created an iconic Studio Frith designed A2 litho print to coincide with the salons.
