About Escola Global International School
We are an International school ´in Mallorca´ and ´of Mallorca´ with a holistic approach to teaching. We follow the English Curriculum and integrate elements of the Spanish Curriculum, our students obtain qualifications in both educational systems. Our aim is to educate and inspire compassionate changemakers through PBL (Project Based Learning) and outdoor lessons as much as possible. We give creative and critical thinking as much precedence as academic studies. The school size of one line per year allows us to focus on individual learning and development processes so that our students become the best version of themselves. We offer studies from the ages of 2 to 16 years old, opening Sixth Form (KS5) to ages 17 and 18 in September 2025. We are approved and recognised by the Conselleria de Educació of the Balearic Islands, authorised by NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain), as well a an official examination centre for both Cambridge and Edexcel examination boards. Furthermore, we are an Eco-School, a Blue School, and we are a Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Centre. Our welcoming and warm community is truly global. Our families are 30% Spanish, 20% English, 20% German and 30% from all around the world!, all of them playing a key role in the school life with regular meetings between our Leadership Team and Class Representatives. Together we celebrate local and international festivities, fundraisers and many more events. Our approach to wellbeing is core to our learning process. School lunch is freshly cooked in house every day, using organic, in season and local produce, serving regular/vegetarian/vegan menus, The school´s location in Parc Bit just outside of Palma, surrounded by nature and very close to the University of the Balearic Islands makes it a very suitable point for access from all over the island. We are well-served by frequent buses and the metro to and from the city
