Escola Marinada de Palau, SCCL is a private - charter primary/secondary education company based in Palau-Solita i Plegamans, Barcelona. The Escola Marinada was founded in 1967 as a reflection of the concerns of a group of parents in the municipality who were not satisfied with the educational offer of the time. Over the years, it has adapted to the different educational systems and curricula, always maintaining its identity features and looking for everything that enables the growth of our students in all areas of their personality. The school has had several locations: in the house of the Folch family, the ground floor of the Town Hall and the current Primary School building, inaugurated in 1969, in Carrer de Sant Miquel. In 1997, the new secondary school was inaugurated, on Passeig de la Carrerada, in order to be able to adapt to the framework of the new educational system. The good relationship between the members of the educational community (teachers, students, non-teaching staff and parents) has always been one of the most characteristic features, which has lasted above all the changes, thus maintaining this family character that makes the closer and more affordable teaching. Starting from a constant pedagogical concern and a consolidated teaching team, it has been possible to create a school line with constant renewal projects, maintaining what time and experience have taught us.
