ESI - Executive Search International was founded in 1977 by Bernd Wosgien, a true pioneer in the hospitality search industry. Bernd played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of many of the world’s most successful top managers and CEOs. In 1997, Stefano P. Bisiconi, following a distinguished career in hotel management, was invited by Bernd to establish an ESI base in Italy. Building on the success of the Rome operation, ESI expanded in 2011 with new offices in Milan, London, and Abu Dhabi. Over the years, ESI has become a trusted partner to leading hospitality organizations worldwide. Stefano P. Bisiconi served as President & CEO until his sudden passing in May 2023.
