ESP – The Event Safety Professionals Company Inc. provides professional services to indoor and outdoor events in the arts, entertainment and live event space. ESP is dedicated to preventing injuries & incidents and creating a safe working environment for all the people involved – people they work with, clients and event attendees as well as venues and fellow suppliers. So, who are we? ESP – The Event Safety Professionals was born in concept in the Summer of 2023 during a conversation between Jason Gordon and Suzannah Patmios. Jason, being an Occupational Safety Expert who is continually growing his areas of expertise in the Event Sector; and Suzannah, a Crowd Safety Expert discussed opportunities to combine services to give a broader offering to our clients as well as to support each other in the industry. From there conversations with Scott Pollard, Cindy Sypher and Graham Hicks grew the concept to a higher level of Service Offerings. The concept is simple, we take the offerings of our pre-existing businesses and work as a collective to better support our clients and offer a wider array of services – Event Safety from Build to Strike. This cohesive approach to Event Safety can help mitigate risk throughout the entire cycle of the event – from start to finish with real-time risk mitigation. The collaborative ESP process helps build greater trust and accountability while working toward closing any gaps on health & safety, risk and insurance, this helps our clients reduce risk and may help to lower insurance overheads.
