About Essence Photography

Essence Photography is an on-location, studio and natural light photographer specializing in portraits of newborns, children, teens, families and engaged couples. Commercial: I’ve always had a love for design and find myself captivated by beautiful spaces. I love to get lost in the atmosphere of a well designed room. I’ve spent the last 8 years working in the Design/Construction industry. Over the years, I’ve found that I not only love designing spaces, but I’ve developed an even greater love for taking photos of these great spaces. I have an eye for photographing architectural exteriors, interiors and commercial projects. My attention is focused on lighting, color and angles to maximize the beauty of the space. Portrait: I always knew I wanted to be an artist. As my creativity blossomed, so did my passion for photography. In 2009, I realized there was no better time than the present to follow my dreams. To be doing what I love and to share my passion with others brings me so much joy. Life passes us by so quickly - we never want to forget the essence of what matters most. Tiny babies grow into curious toddlers. Soon toddlers become children and we wish they could hold onto their innocence forever. Children become young adults ready to spread their wings and take on the world. Those young adults fall in love and before you know it, have babies of their own. Life never slows down and we wish we could remember every step along the way.
