Following the dog boom of the covid lockdowns my small dog training business rocketed. I was totally committed to raising the standards of dog training and educating dog owners to try and slow down the rate of dogs going into rescue through lack of education (this ethos stands strong today but I have now added the word “quality” education as the ever growing social media trends repeatedly turn out some poor information. I couldn’t do it alone and so I formed Essential Canine Life Skills Ltd home of exclusive franchised dog training business serving their own area. This isn’t a numbers game and quality is far better than quality and I personally support the development each individual business to ensure quality brand delivery. Potential franchise owners are vetted and worked with to ensure they have the same drive and motivation to keep improving the quality of education available to dog owners. #togetherwecanachieve and #morethanjustadogtrainer are strap lines that echo throughout the business as I support the development of trainers into empathetic, sympathetic but honest dog owners. The Spirit Dog Trainer™️ series of dog trainer courses is currently under going the vigorous accreditation process with the Skills and Education Group and this is just the beginning! The dog trainers course is a stand alone course and candidates must have over 20 dogs handling experience and they will not be tied into a franchise areas - this is open to all. Courses can be delivered in house to other canine businesses or by attended our scheduled dates.
