Essex Homes of WNY is a leading custom home builder specializing in single-family homes, luxury patio homes and one and two-story villas. Founded in 1992 by the Nanula family, the firm employs a staff of 20 and is headquartered in Clarence, New York. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, Essex Homes has built more than 1,500 custom homes in communities across WNY including Aurora, Clarence, Grand Island, Hamburg, Lakeview, Lancaster, and Orchard Park. The firm’s most ambitious project to date is Essex Greens at Waterford, a 108-lot luxury patio home community in Clarence Center which is now entering its third phase of development. Other Essex communities include Stewart Farms (Aurora); Shadow Woods (Clarence Center); Cross Creek Estates (Lancaster); Brompton Heights and The Villas at Brompton (Hamburg); Knoche Farms, The Hills and Ridgewood Estates (Orchard Park, NY). Over the years, Essex Homes has been honored with numerous awards and honors on the local, regional and national levels for building excellence. These include recognition by Builder magazine on its “Fast Track Hall of Fame” list and being named “Builder of the Year” by the Niagara Frontier Builders Association.
