About Esteamed Coffee

Esteamed Coffee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cafe located in downtown Cary, NC. We employ individuals with various disabilities, most of whom have never had a meaningful employment opportunity before. Our team is on a mission to lower the unemployment rate and increase the quality of life for adults with intellectual, developmental, communication, and/or visual disabilities by creating meaningful jobs and social opportunities in a warm, supportive environment. Along with workforce development, we also provide unique social events and volunteer opportunities for adults with special needs. Additionally, we have created an inclusive space to showcase up to six local artists with disabilities every quarter, rotating art for sale in the shop each season. Our passion lies in celebrating diversity, promoting belonging, enhancing the quality of life for our team, and creating a welcoming and inclusive home away from home: a third place. At Esteamed Coffee you're not just buying a cup of coffee, you're nurturing an extraordinary community where everyone is valued.
