Esus Centre represents a significant milestone in the field of eating disorders. Providing comprehensive and specialised care, Esus supports individuals and their families to access the highest standard of care delivered at the right intensity for the right person at the right time. Esus is the first integrated eating disorder treatment centre in Australia. Our model incorporates a seamless transition of care across the service. We offer: - A daily Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) targeting nutritional restoration and compensatory behaviours, as the foundation for ongoing psychological therapy. - Low intensity group programs for skills development and targeting comorbid issues that act as treatment barriers. - Coordinated and collaborative individual and family out-patient treatment with psychiatrists, psychologists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. - GP-led medical monitoring and stabilisation. Experienced and Passionate Team: Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, dietitians, GPs, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and people with lived experience, all working together under one roof. This collaboration allows us to develop individualised, holistic treatment plans and provide gold-standard care focused on recovery.
