Building communities together. “Etala” is a South African Tsepedi word, meaning “grow”. This representation of the name is the core basis of which this company has been built. To be able to provide basic human rights and needs of the less fortunate, focusing strategically on the basic humanitarian rights to have a plate of food and the right to a shelter. This strategic focus, allows Etala to maximise the opportunities granted by making a difference in the communities in which they operate, while growing individuals to be the best they could possibly be. We have been hard hit by the COVID 19 pandemic with both lives and livelihoods being affected. Many have felt its wrath through job-loss and being a breadwinner has a negative, damning effect on our people. With an economic downturn the homeless have just become even more vulnerable leading to a life of crime. Our aim is to do our part as a community to eradicate poverty, hunger and the destitute but our feeding schemes, volunteer student tuition and mentoring programmes. We are partnering to build a world where all people live with at least the necessities in life. Food, clothes and a roof are some of the fundamental needs that are lost amongst our communities.
