About Ethernetics

Our mission is: reducing electricity consumption at Data Centers, in line with our tagline: ‘Decarbonise Data Centers’. Data Centers face what we call a Digital Dilemma. On one side: there is an exponential growth in the demand for digital services. With the rapid adoption of AI, this growth is accelerating. On the other side: the industry, consuming electricity worth of about 10 billion EUR annually in Europe, is under regulatory and societal pressure to enhance efficiency and reduce carbon emissions (by 2030). The volatility of energy prices and the struggle of the power grid to meet the surging demand for digital services, are adding to the financial and operational risks. What is the solution we are offering? Why is it unique and innovative? Ethernetics tackles the problem ‘at the source’ with the aim to avoid electricity to be used (rather than increase the remediation afterwards). We have designed an Intelligent Power Distribution Unit (PDU) to measure and optimise electricity consumption at the most granular level (= the server socket). We are the only company that actively and real-time adapts the energy need and consumption. Our Intelligent PDU is complementary to the conventional solutions and is easy to deploy (requires no infrastructure investments). In summary, Ethernetics is a company at the intersection of three major trends: the greenification of the economy, the integration of AI, and the expansion of data centers. Its unique, patented technology, market readiness, and commitment to sustainability makes it part of the technology solutions for carbon reduction.
