About Ethos of Aid

An education, training and advocacy organization invested in the well-being, growth and development of humanitarian personnel, resulting in ethical, decolonized, exceptional service to recipients of aid, delivered by healthy, sustainable practitioners. Our 20+ years of field experience and research demonstrates that exceptional service-delivery demands self-awareness, thematic expertise and leadership skills, accompanied by ongoing commitment to furthering these core competencies. Our research also reveals a direct correlation between investing in the personal growth of practitioners - both local and international - and wider social change. Through bespoke coaching, mentoring and training, our humanitarian clients are provided safe spaces outside of their respective organizations to pause, reflect, process, prioritize their well-being, and learn and expand their toolbox. And through bespoke practical advocacy programs, organizations have the opportunity to reflect on their culture, beliefs and ethics, towards valuing staff and recipients of aid alike. There is much discussion on the philosophical and systemic frameworks of humanitarian aid.
