About Etpa - A new way of power trading

Etpa is a Power Exchange enabling flexible, short-term electricity trading to support the energy transition. Through innovative approaches to cash settlement, collateral and physical delivery, we lower barriers to the spot market. Etpa is a Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) in the Netherlands and Germany. We provide an independent trading platform with an open order book for short-term electricity trading. Participants with a capacity of 0.1MW or more can optimize their energy portfolios, gaining access to a variety of markets. Etpa offers three trading products: Intraday XBID NL & DE – A 24/7 continuous wholesale market with shared liquidity between NEMOs (Austria and Belgium coming soon). GOPACS redispatch – A congestion management tool for local grid balancing in the Netherlands. Ex-Post – A financial settlement market to reduce certain imbalance costs in the Netherlands. Participants can choose to trade these products either directly or through a third party on our platform.
