About eTruism
eTruism.org is a non-profit eCommerce marketplace. Our mission is to change the paradigm on how companies and individuals give to charities. Our goal is to increase the amount and frequency of giving to charities by companies and individuals without having to give in cash. On eTruism.org, customers can purchase online a wide range of products. At checkout, customers select a charity or charitable cause where 100% of the profits from their purchase will go. We fill this marketplace with products donated by companies. Examples include; samples, out of season products, and excess inventory. The companies are able to write off in their tax return the market value of the inventory donated. Companies benefit by giving away inventory that’s costing them to store and receive tax deduction benefits. Customers benefit by getting great products and being able to direct the profit to a charity of their choice. Most importantly charities benefit by receiving much needed funding for their causes.
