Around 80% of our supply chain is made up of small suppliers, with £5 million committed to social enterprises. Seasonal menus and fresh British produce are key to Eurest’s offering, taking a new approach to workplace catering that supports workers across the UK to live happier, more productive lives. We have a UK-first sourcing policy which means the majority of our produce is British, including fresh vegetables, meat, fish and dairy, with the remainder largely comprising produce which can’t be sourced from the UK. In January 2021 we unveiled a major refresh of our plant-based nutritious range, Plantilicious, rolling out across hundreds of locations in the UK. Catering to the growing numbers of ‘flexitarians’ in the UK, the innovative dishes outperform their meat counterparts on fibre, saturated fat and protein. Incorporating more plant-based and plant-forward meals into our menus is also a simple way to help our clients to meet their sustainability targets. Our culinary creativity and nutrition-led approach supports wellbeing and brings style and hospitality to workplace restaurants, cafés and executive dining rooms.
