Broadly acknowledged for the leading quality of its airship design, it has been selected by the European Union in its H4R program for responding to natural and industrial disasters, as well as by numerous other potential users studying the integration of airships into their activities. Unlike most other current airship projects, Euro Airship’s design is based on a rigid envelope. Euro Airship also holds international patents to key technology for airship operation. Euro Airship has prepared construction-ready designs for its initial two models: the Corsair, with a 1-8 tonne payload capacity, and the DGPAtt, with a 30-50 tonne payload capacity. Future models with capacities extending to 250-400 tonnes have been planned.
