About Eurofins E&E CML
Eurofins E&E CML Limited (CML) is registered as a UK Approved Body (No 2503) and, through the Dutch Government, CML B.V. a subsidiary of CML UK, is an EU Notified Body (No 2776) for the European Union Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX). This is supported by the UKAS accreditation (No 8175) to IEC 17025 and IEC 17065. The full scope of accreditation allows for the issuing of certificate for all types of protection. CML is also an IECEx Certification Body (ExCB) and test laboratory (ExTL) with the full scope of standards available within the IECEx certification scheme. Services are delivered by over 33 full-time staff, the majority of which are engaged directly in certification, engineering and testing. CML's main laboratory is in Ellesmere Port in the UK, as well as offices in Houston, Texas, USA and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Certification Management Limited (CML) was established in June 2013 in the UK, offering a complete range of compliance services. The first ATEX and IECEx certificates were issued in September 2013 and April 2014 respectively by CML with over 2500 certificates issued worldwide to date. CML is now the number one issuer of new IECEx certificates worldwide. In 2017 CML became the first foreign certification body to be accepted by the Japanese government to issue product certification of equipment for explosive atmospheres. CML also has a number of partnerships with certification bodies and test laboratories around the world, giving its customers access to a number of markets around the world. CML provides additional services, including Functional Safety certification (products and management systems), Quality Management Systems certification against ISO 9001:2015, independent laboratory testing services (such as degree of protection testing, environmental testing), and training relating to our core services.
