About European Youth Parliament UK (EYPUK)
The European Youth Parliament United Kingdom (EYPUK) is a non-partisan and independent educational charity (no. 102943). We engage young people with UK and EU political issues, providing them with a platform to express their opinions whilst building new skills, confidence, and friendships. Each year, we run 14 Regional debating competitions and two national events with participants from across the UK. We also run a series of outreach events, engaging young people with the issues in their local communities, improving their skills in discussion and debate. EYPUK also links up with the wider EYP community for international events. The European Youth Parliament United Kingdom (EYPUK) is the UK's National Committee of its umbrella organisation, the European Youth Parliament (EYP). Thousands of young people are actively involved as volunteers all over Europe, making the EYP a genuinely youth-driven programme – run by young people, for young people. The entire network, made up of more than 30,000 young people, organises around 500 events every year.
