About Evans Safe Harbor

Evans Safe Harbor was founded on September 1, 2021, by Katrina Evans and Trinastictokcrew. In March we decided we would dedicate our lives and time to a certain mission, and it was to take a stand against Domestic violence and assist anyone in a battered or abusive relationship of any kind. As I helped multiple people by getting these individuals the funds, they needed donated by myself and others to escape their abusive situation and to a safe place. After realizing this was a mission, we are solely dedicated to, we knew we had to get more involved. We knew that with this opportunity we can shine more light on the fact that Men are abused also, and it is often socially acceptable or overlooked. There are not enough facilities For Men available. We want to be a part of the change. Along with that we also want to help Women that have not had children and women that have, as we have discovered that without a child or with a child above a certain age, it is harder to get into a shelter of any kind, and I find this unacceptable! That is when I began to think bigger and had a vision of one shelter and naming it Evans Safe Harbor. At this time, we are asking for donations to make this dream possible not only for Survivors of Domestic Violence but for the amazing things we can do not only in Houston but throughout the United States, as no city is without need of places like this. Will you help us be a part of the solution and assist us in helping so many people that are in need and without resources. We would need to hire a small number of staff to work at each location and would like to be able to pay a reasonable wage to them as well. The positions will also be available for tenants to apply for as well as disabled Vet’s. Currently, we are asking for a donation of any amount on behalf of your company in exchange for your company’s recognition as a donor and contribution in assisting us in helping the amazing people we have yet to meet on our website.
