ECI is a custom manufacturer of vacuum-deposited thin films including metal and dielectric mirrors, anti-reflection coatings, beamsplitters, attenuation coatings, solderable films, transparent conductive coatings, index matching films, LWP/SWP and bandpass filters. High Power and ultra stable IBS deposition coatings are available for the most demanding laser and filtering requirements. Our facility houses 16 vacuum chambers, clean rooms, substrate preparation stations and a full complement of metrology equipment. We offer a variety of films specifically designed for deposition onto glass as well as temperature sensitive substrate materials such as polymer optics, semiconductor materials, crystals, ultrathin wafers, laser bars, Infrared materials, fiber ends, fiber arrays, ball lenses and TO-XX caps. ECI has wide experience coating high index glasses, metals, micro optics, BaF2, CaF2, Garnet, LBO, KTP, BBO & InP. Custom fixturing is available for full aperture, IBS, APS and IAD deposition. The company was founded by several entrepreneurs to develop physical vapor deposition technology for commercial and military companies. Over the years the technology has matured and the number of special coating processes has blossomed to include applications in medical, military, aerospace, sensing, telecommunications, fiber delivery systems, laser manufacturing, surveillance and display markets.
