Event Owl is now an established portal for the events sector which was launched in March 2014. After working alongside key events organisers in the North of England, the company is working hard to encourage a wider reach of UK events organisers to use the platform which is aimed at exhibitors/traders/stallholders. Recently they have teamed up with two prominent UK events organisers, Malton Food Lovers Food Festivals and Food Festivals Ltd to bring more experience and knowledge into the business to share with other traders and organisers. For many UK businesses who regularly attend events, dipping in and out of different event websites to track down forms and then filling them in means much frustration. The duplication of information required for each event organiser is repetitively tedious, taking key time from their business. Event Owl takes and saves their key business information and auto populates a standardised application form for them. Even via smart phones. Event organisers provide the Event Owl team with their current trade stand application forms which are converted into an online form and page listing, taking advantage of a pay as you use online system. Information such as the type of stand and extras required, business details, social media accounts, insurance details, images, risk assessment and the signing of t's and c's, are pertinent to each application. This is then forwarded to the organiser for approval, the missing information chase is done by the system. The entire process is automated, includes a deposit scheme, discounting, sales receipting, pitch bid processing to name but a few tools and direct payment to organisers. It has a wealth of information lists, spreadsheets and links, is secure and dynamic. The time saving is significant for both parties.
